A reminder to members: get your registrations in EARLY to CLRC. They get
swamped with business during late November and December. The tattoo letter
for 2009 is "W" - which is the internationally-recognized symbol for this
year.

CLRC has a new pedigree reporting system. You can now go back and see up to
6 generations of an animal's pedigree. Go to:

A reminder to our founding members - your founding membership fee (200.00)
expires with the year 2009. The annual dues notice for $20.00 will be sent
to you after January 1, 2010 when the notice goes out to all the annual
members.

- Members are reminded to register their new calves promptly this fall. Our
registrar gets extremely busy in December of each year, so try to get your
applications in early. Click on the "Forms" tab of this website to print the
application and fee schedule.
- A newsletter is being planned and hopefully sent out around the end of the
year. If you have fall fair news to share from your area, please send the

- Welcome our new member from Tennessee,

- Check the Cattle For Sale section: Fred Mastel has 50 yearling heifers for
sale.
- Annual members: Please make sure your dues are up-to-date! We are planning
a new Breeder Directory soon, and you need to have your farm/ranch listed.
"Founding Members" are counted as having their dues paid through 2009.
February 2009 - MGIA News!
- See the new listings on the Cattle for Sale page. Jerry and Shirley Stull are totally retiring and having a complete herd dispersal sale. Ron Herpich has five purebread yearling heifers for sale. Take a look!
- Annual members please pay your 2009 dues. A new Breeder Directory is coming out soon and you will want to be included. Founding Members are counted as having their dues paid through 2009, but thereafter their dues will also be the same as annual members.
